"Tales from the Woodlands"

OK, so the heading might catch you eyes. That is my hope, at least. Before we get too far along with the tales, have you ever heard of a community called "Calcis"? It is a quiet cluster of homes, no stores, trains (BUT not as many as there used to be), and very little excitement to mention, much of the time.

Why do I want to spin tales?

I picked it up from the cooler evenings my family spent sitting on the porch, and my Mother, or other relatives relating tales of their childhood, or of the community's heratige. For such a small 'speck' on the map of Alabama, it has a wealth of tales.
